Pelican Thieves is a 5 piece electronic rock act based out of Orange County, NY. The group was officially formed in 2010 by band members Dominic Scarano (lead vocals, synths) and Richard Scarano (lead guitar, synths) as a duo. The two cousins/band mates crafted the band’s debut EP “Firelight” and soon after added in Collin Riley (rhythm guitar/backup vocals), Shaun Decker (Bass), and David Gapay (Drums) to fill the sound and add a new and more rock oriented feel to the mix. The group pushes countless musical boundaries by fusing elements of electronica, progressive rock, and pop and rolling them in to one unique and well envisioned sound that is all their own.The group plans to release their debut LP “Human Hands” in early 2011 and has already began writing for their second album.
