Local artists are a rich asset to the community, maybe more than we know. It was always known, even by governments, that during hard times art was a necessary asset to bring back into the public eye. During the 1930′s depression artists were hired to paint, photograph and share with the public what they had created. Good times or not so good, artists bring richness to any community.
Grinds is committed to strengthening existing artistic involvement within the Hudson Valley by providing new, innovative ways for directly influencing the artists expressions. Through this page, you will be able to actively participate in providing further means by which artists can freely express themselves. We can build our community up by reaching out.
